The Black & Tan crew pulled double duty during the Red Bull Soapbox Race in partnership with Maverik. The Maverik Campground & “Adventure’s First Stop” activations marked the debut of the amazing custom car we crafted, “Lil Maverik!”. Modeled after its older sibling, the Maverik Bronco, Lil’ Mav became a showstopper all over the city while visiting 14 stores in-market over 7 days. In the heart of the city, we hosted the “Maverik Campground”, an interactive inner-metro escape to the outdoors, and treated race fans with campsite games, build-your-own car derby racing, day-saving adventure supplies, and a venue-wide scavenger hunt. Participants took themed campground photos with fishing poles, camping gear, and all of the outdoorsy essentials, and got to take home their own copy!

This all-day extravaganza introduced visitors to the world of Maverik, and they were able to preview the Maverik Apparel, max out their rewards with the Adventure Club, and take savings to the next level with the Nitro Card. Last, to kick off the event, Lil Maverik took the first run with 50,000 locals cheering on. What an awesome week of hanging out with Red Bull at “Adventure’s First Stop!”
